So much to be THANKFUL for

Hard to believe that Thanksgiving time is here, the holidays are upon us, and time is just flying by. Olivia is already 3 weeks old and doing GREAT! She is up to 6 pounds 12 ounces and feeding and sleeping well. Big sister Sydney is awesome. She continues to shower Olivia with kisses and is always making us smile.
Here is Olivia with her new friend Charlie. This is Izzy's little brother and just one week older that Olivia. We even ventured out to lunch with Sally, Scott, Izzy and Charlie and it went well. So thankful for good friends : )
Sydney always enjoys her time at Kidville and she spent art class with her boyfriend Braden. The two of them are SOOO cute together and we love spending time with his family.

Sydney actually likes to do chores and helped Daddy rake the leaves. Wish she would pick up her toys but I guess that'll come one day....

And there is just nothing better than having these two girls...our pride and joy. Pure happiness...it just keeps getting better and better.

I am so THANKFUL for my wonderful family--these two healthy, happy, perfect girls and a loving husband. Hope all of you have a special Thanksgiving and THANK YOU for all your love and support.

Olivia is 2 weeks old already!

Things have been really good with the Martin family of 4. We did make it out to the Cheesecake Factory for our first family dinner out (olivia 10 days old) and it went very well! What a difference a week makes...this weekend we also spent some time outside and went for a walk at Rio to feed the ducks.

Sydney has been a great big sister! She is enjoying her new role and is always on the lookout for Olivia. She has been her silly self and makes all of us laugh. Olivia is going to love watching and learning from her big sister. Check out these cute pictures of Princess Sydney.

Guess I have to catch up to the 5,000+ pictures of Sydney so I took a few of miss Olivia and here are some of my favorites:

Overall I am feeling much better and getting around easier which is helpful with our very active toddler. We are so grateful for all the help and support we've gotten including meals from our neighbors (and lots more in the freezer from Barbara!!!) and Dalila, our nanny that is helping us out for a couple of weeks. She has made this a lot easier than expected and takes such good care of the girls! Wish she was staying in the USA longer!

Welcome Home Olivia

Time to bring Olivia home!

Big sister Sydney is adjusting pretty well to the new addition. She's going to be a big help and overall is just being her usual silly self.

Olivia had her first bath with the help of Grandma and Nanny.

We can't wait to share more pictures and updates as time goes on. It's been one week since Olivia was born and the 4 Martins are doing well.

Spending time at Holy Cross Hospital

Overall the hospital wasn't so bad although it was a much harder recovery from the c-section. But Olivia is doing great and we appreciated friends and family who came to meet her.

Gotta catch up to the billion pictures of Sydney so here are some cute ones of Olivia (sorry about the sideways one-too cute not to include)

We tried to plan it for the same day but Olivia's new friend Kenzy decided to come a day earlier. Congratulations to Robyn & Kevin plus big sisters Jordana and Lyla. It'll be fun to go through this together. Check out the new friends in their first picture together:

Happy BIRTHday to Olivia

We arrived at the hospital bright and early on Tuesday morning November 2nd--hard to believe just over two years ago we were here welcoming Sydney to our family. Here we are again, at Holy Cross Hospital waiting for the c-section to begin and welcome the newest member of our family.

Dr. Sine delivered Olivia Michelle Martin at 9:47 am. It was a pretty eventful pregnancy with a few little complications and I did not think we were going to make it to full term but Olivia waited until the scheduled day to make her appearance. And she is perfect!!!

A very special THANK YOU to Aunt Beth (and Uncle Jay, Zach and Lindsay) for watching Sydney overnight and caring for her so both sets of grandparents could be at the hospital and making it special for her too. Sydney had a great time going to school with Lindsay and being with her cousins. We couldn't wait to introduce Sydney to her little sister. Olivia--we are so glad that you are finally here: We LOVE you!

Family of Four

We are thrilled to welcome Olivia Michelle Martin, born one week ago today--November 2, 2010, into our family. She arrived at 9:47am and was 6 pounds 5 ounces and just perfect. Overall things here are wonderful and big sister Sydney is enjoying her new role and does a great job looking out for her new baby sister.

Have not found the time to upload pictures to the computer yet but wanted to share some newborn photos that we had taken yesterday:

Once again Tonya did a fantastic job.

More to come later!!!
