Can't wait for Election Day!!!

OK--misleading caption since my parents are not that into politics. November 2nd is the day that my baby sister is scheduled to arrive so only have to wait a few more days. Mommy thinks the baby may come sooner but I think she is just anxious and nothing seems to be happening yet. Another doctor visit tomorrow will tell us more...

Daddy says I am his little Princess so I decided to dress the part. I love the new Belle tiara (daddy is hiding the matching dress and shoes until Hanukkah!) and even posed for some pictures for Mommy.

Here is my school picture and one of my whole class. Somehow the photographer managed to get all of us to look at the camera so mommy thinks this is a great photo.

As it is getting more difficult for Mommy, Daddy and I were helping out with some of the housework (good photo op since Mommy still does most of the housework). We're getting ready for baby and will keep you all posted!!!

Waiting for November...

Don't I look like such a big girl?! I am ready to be a big sister and we are all hoping that baby waits just a couple more weeks to get here but we'll see--mommy goes to the doctor every week and they thought the baby might be ready to meet us. Lots of stuff going on here keeping us busy and I want to share a few more pictures with you... check out our new double stroller, celebrating with Izzy at the Cheesecake Factory/White Flint train and hanging out with my cousins:

Maybe the next post will be about my sister...we'll keep you all posted!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sydney!!!

Breakfast cheers with daddy at Original House of Pancakes. Our 2nd annual birthday breakfast celebration is always lots of fun. What a great way to start our day!

Preschool was a great way to spend the morning. My parents, teachers and friends at school made the day extra special

sydneyisms

Although Sydney has definitely been demonstrating her stubborn side and terrible two behavior, she also continues to make us laugh with the things that she says.

Jason loves that the other morning while grabbing his checkbook Sydney screamed "I need a pen!". Uh Oh...we are in trouble with that one.

This morning she told me I looked like a Princess when I tried on her flower headband that matched the tutu she was wearing. At 35 weeks pregnant I certainly am not looking like any Princess but it was so sweet the way she said it.

We might have been overdoing it with the birthday talks over the last few weeks cause out of nowhere today Sydney announced "I need a present!!!"
Not a good indication of things to come....

And finally, when getting ready for bed and reading stories she started talking about Dora and Boots being best friends. I asked who her best friend was and she answered "Floppy" (her stuffed dog; later she said Izzy and Braden!). And I asked who my best friend was and she answered "Daddy". Awwwwww! : )

It is never a dull moment with our almost 2 year old and each and every day provides us with laughter and sunshine.

October is here

I'm getting ready to be a big sister and this weekend I went to the hospital where mommy is going to have my baby sister. My friend Izzy is also excited about her little brother and we took a class together and got to see some little babies. But most of all we just liked playing around!

October is a special month and I will be celebrating my 2nd birthday very soon. Mommy says I am obsessed with birthdays and I had fun dressing up in my special birthday outfit. My parents can't believe that I am almost 2 years old--what a fantastic couple of years it has been!!!
