Father's Day and more summer fun

Happy Father's Day to Daddy, Poppie and Papa--I love you all!

This weekend we went to the Leesburg Petting Zoo with Nanny and Papa as part of our Father's Day celebration--I had a great time! I went on my first pony ride (loved it), jumped in the moon bounce (loved it) and got to feed lots of animals including sheep, camels, goats, chickens and see giant turtles a porcupine and more! What a great place : )

For me, its all about the water. So I've been spending lots of time at the swimming pool and went to a fun new place-the Germantown Water Splash Park which was awesome! And then at home I play with my water table. Just can't get enough!

But with all these crazy activities, a girl just has to find time for a little R & R!

How could they??!! My parents went to Disneyland without me : ( They did take a just a few pictures to show me and said we'd go to Disney again but still....

They told me San Diego was a lot of fun--they went to the beaches, went shopping and ate at all kinds of great restaurants.

Mommy wanted to bring home a real koala for me...but daddy said no : ( I did get a really cute stuffed animal so that will have to do...

Mommy and daddy ate at Sydney's Grill, shopped at Sydney's store and spent some time in Sydney's hangout...guess they were thinking of me?! They did love the zoo and said they can't wait to go back and take me there.

Daddy loves the Mets so they went to a San Diego Padres/Mets baseball game while they were in San Diego. They had a beach section with sand for all the kids to play in the bleacher section...if baseball stadiums here had that, i might enjoy going to a game!

Sesame Place!!!

Sesame Place was SOOO great! I had a fun filled day visiting with all my favorite characters! There were so many highlights including all the shows, meeting everyone (including Elmo and Abby!!!) and watching the parade.

The rides were awesome! Daddy and I went on most of them cause mommy was dizzy but I think she just wanted to take pictures of me. I smiled and clapped after every ride--this place is just too cool!

We started our day at Breakfast with Elmo--definitely a highlight of the day. We got to hang out with Elmo, Big Bird, Zoe, Bert and Ernie and enjoyed a fun meal. Our friends Suzy, Aaron and Cara from New Hampshire happened to be at Sesame Place the same day so we got to see them several times throughout the day

I'm a Big Girl now!

Guess what?!

Yesterday I peed on the potty! Mommy and Daddy have been reading me lots of books about going to the bathroom and we've been practicing a little but last night I actually did it!

We were driving home from dinner and I started talking about "pee pee potty" and when we got home I ran right to the stairs, climbed up real fast and went into the bathroom. After just one story I was done and my parents were so proud that I went pee in the potty. They shouldn't get too excited--not sure I'm gonna do it again for awhile but it sure was a big moment!

For now I have fun sitting on the potty, brushing my teeth and reading fun stories. We'll see.......

Lunch date with Daddy

Mommy wasn't feeling well today so daddy stayed home from work and hung out with me all day. We even went out to lunch just the two of us at one of Daddy's favorite places (NOT the Cheesecake Factory but Rio Grande!). I loved being with my daddy.

We've been really busy and Mommy hasn't been very good about taking pictures--in fact she even didn't have her camera for Mother's Day so she made someone who works at Daddy's golf club take pictures for us. Our bathroom renovation project is moving along and lots of fun stuff coming up including my parents taking a trip to San Diego and leaving me to party with my grandparents : ) and more summer fun.

Last weekend we went to the Baltimore Aquarium. I LOVE looking at fish, turtles, dolphins and sharks! My parents were so busy chasing after me that there aren't too many pictures from that day. I wish that the aquarium was closer...

Mommy and daddy got a new car and I love to drive our "cool car"--that's what I call it every time we are going out someplace. I like to sneak into the drivers seat--i can't wait until I can drive for real (calm down dad--not for a few years!).

Believe it or not I do actually get slowed down sometimes. Mommy snapped this picture when i was chillin out watching some Sesame Street. She just couldn't figure out why I wouldn't let go of the golf clubs.

I had my first boo-boo. Guess it is my fault since I was running so fast and fell on the driveway--right onto my nose! Mommy and daddy are sad but said I have the cutest little red nose ever!
