Olivia's baby naming

Last weekend we celebrate as Olivia was given her Hebrew name, Miriam Michal, in memory/honor of my 2 grandmothers Marian and Muriel and Jason's grandfather Morris. The Rabbi did a wonderful job with personalizing the ceremony and made it so meaningful--the tears of happiness were overflowing. Such a perfect day shared with family and friends.

Thank you to Uncle Neil for the pictures since I was preoccupied and did not have my camera the entire time! Just wanted to post a few family pictures and maybe will get to post more another time...

Special thank you to Aunt Janice for coming all the way from California...I know she enjoyed visiting with all of us!

Ooops...missed a whole month of pictures

Here it is...May 2nd...and there have been NO new pictures or updates since Olivia's 5 month picture. But I am right on time since TODAY Olivia is 6 months old!!! Things have been VERY busy and not too much time for downloading pictures. But I'll try and post some highlights from the last month soon(passover, circus, Baby Naming, new basement and lots more!).

Olivia's 5 month picture

Yes...i am as crazy with Olivia as I was with Sydney and I went to Great Beginnings to weigh her and get an estimated weight for her baby book. She was about 12 pounds 8 ounces. Can't believe she is 5 months old already.......

Springtime is finally here!

Sydney LOVES to wear matching clothes and I love that she is showing Olivia who the big sister is!

We got a new Ipad2, or should I saw Sydney got an ipad and may let us use it every once in awhile?! She has figured out how to play games /read stories and is learning to use new apps--soon she'll know more about it than we do.

Olivia is enjoying all the new toys and playthings around the house--Sydney's jump-a-roo and exersaucer are already being put to good use.

Guess who LOVES to play dress up? Problem is, she likes to wear it all at once! Her friends came over and brought some fun new things (like the boa!) and Sydney had a great time wearing everything!

First we had the "purple girls", then a bunch of matching Big Sister/Little Sister shirts and now we have the "red girls" in their beautiful dresses. Don't they look adorable??!!! I do not intentionally dress them the same but Sydney kind of insists on it sometimes...

Can you believe how big Olivia is getting?! Figured I better post these pictures before she turns 5 months old...Every month we have to get together with Kenzy who is just one day older--they are so cute in their matching shirts!

Olivia tested out the highchair and wasn't quire sure what to make out of it. Next month we are starting rice cereal!

Sydney visited a firehouse with some of her friends and loved checking out the ambulance and fire trucks--she was ready to climb in and get to work! We'll look forward to doing this again as she gets older but Sydney is so curious about everything and still talks about the fire truck (and likes to wear her fire hat!)

Olivia 3 months

Since this was technically Olivia's photo shoot we had to get lots of pictures of adorable Olivia and she did an excellent job of smiling for the camera. Hope that she always stays this photogenic since I LOVE taking pictures of the kids as well. But they never compare to these professional pictures that we've had taken of the girls. She's growing up so fast (too fast if you ask me) and continues to delight us with her coos, smiles and easy going personality. One of my favorite things is the way she lights up whenever Sydney is near her and watches everything Sydney does. It is just too cute! Our next photo session isn't until 7 months and i know i can't wait for those! Enjoy these pictures!!!

Gotta love these two little trouble makers. Just look at their faces--they know they can get away with anything : ) Big sister Sydney certainly was having a good time with these pictures and loves her little sister so much. These pictures are priceless.
