DAK-Disney's Animal Kingdom!

An almost perfect day! Minus Jason being sick and spending most of the day at First Aid, it was a wonderful day filled with fun, great food, amazing shows, and a special Sydney treat! Our friend Donavan from Disney joined us for the day, which turned out to be such a blessing since Jason was sick. So Donavan helped push the stroller, keep an eye out on the girls and snapped over 400 pictures! Here are some of my favorites from the day:

Words can not even describe how cool it was the Sydney was picked to represent our section at the Festival of the Lion King show. She got to be a part of the show and just looked absolutely adorable. Plus we had front row seats to this already amazing show and to see it up close and personal was just awe inspiring.

We all loved our character lunch at Tusker House--Barbara and Wayne even asked to go back again! Sydney did the congo with Goofy and we all enjoyed ourselves. And Donavan took us on a secluded path that led right up to the Tree Of Life for some amazing views. We will definitely have to go back when Jason is feeling better!

Magical day at Magic Kingdom

What an absolutely magical day at the Magic Kingdom! Telling the story in reverse...Wayne and I enjoyed the evening fireworks show and I figured out how to use my camera to take pictures of the fireworks--aren't these amazing??!!

Our Princesses enjoyed meeting Cinderella, Belle and Aurora. Sydney got to dance and twirl with each one and Olivia walked over to the Princesses!

And no visit to the Magic Kingdom would be complete without saying hello to Minnie & Mickey!

My friend Gretchen from Syracuse and her 2 sons (Miles and Wesley) joined us for a day at MK plus a special lunch with Pooh and Friends! It is always great to share a fun day and a great time was had by all.

Princess Sydney got her bangs cut and a special princess updo-her response when looking in the mirror: "I'm beautiful!"

And Olivia got her First Haircut!!! She did a great job and got special Mickey ears, certificate and we saved a lock of her hair. As always, she looks adorable!

Later this year the Magic Kingdom is going to open a whole new section of Fantasy Land with Belle's castle (and special meal!), Little Mermaid section, Dwarves ride and 2 Dumbo's! We all can not wait for this (plus a new cool hotel--the Art of Animation with guest suites). When are we gonna book this next trip???!!!!?!?!

Disney's Hollywood Studios-Sat. Jan 21

My quest to stay at every Disney property took us to Old Key West for our 4 nights in Orlando. Overall it worked out great with the 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom, living room, kitchen...but the best part was the restaurant with the greatest name: Olivia's! They even gave us an autographed menu with a special message for Olivia--Welcome Home Boss!

Our first day was spent at Disney's Hollywood Studios (after a conference for Jason and a morning at Islands of Adventure/Harry Potter for me). We love Toy Story Mania, Beauty and the Beast show, Muppets Movie and playing in the Honey I shrunk the playground. And Sydney got up to dance with the stage show-so cute!

The weather just couldn't be beat and we hung out with some fun Disney characters. The girls loved being with Nanny and Papa all morning and seeing the Disney Junior show. I'm sure Wayne has about a thousand pictures just from the morning! More photos to come...
