giving the Elmo poster a great big hug! so excited to see Elmo again after our last trip.
checking into the Residence Inn...the girls just loved seeing Elmo. And Olivia is now officially calling him LaLa, just like Sydney did...so between LaLa (Elmo) and Boppy (Zoe) we are hoping Olivia will learn to say some of the characters names correctly
Hanging out with Cousin Rebecca in the hotel room---sooooo grateful that she was able to join us at the last minute for our trip since Jason had to work all weekend. i almost did this by myself--but would have been crazy so this worked out fantastic. the girls LOVE Rebecca and we think she enjoyed Sesame Place as much as they did!
We're finally here...after a long car ride and wait, we made it to the theme park for a fun filled weekend
driving the red fire truck on sesame street
123 Sesame Street
Standing next to the Sesame Street sign
Big Bird Balloon Race with Cousin Rebecca-one of Sydney's favorite rides
i love the curiosity in her eyes...she was fascinated on this ride--too cute
Ernie's bed bounce--a super large moon bounce with way too many kids jumping around
sydney and olivia loved all the flower topiary arrangements
Sydney was so serious while waiting to go on the carousel...i just can't get over how much older she looks
Olivia's expressions just kill me...she cracks me up!
riding the carousel
watching one of the shows...definitely cool to see all the characters dance around
playing around in the Ernie pool...love that i didn't have to go in and we are not quite ready for the rest of the water park/slides/crowds
Olivia took a snooze while sydney enjoyed some pool time
sydney looked so cozy all wrapped up after swimming in the pool
love this one of Sydney hugging Olivia...i hope that they always want to hug each other!
its impossible to get a picture of both girls looking at the camera but we tried to wait patiently...
olivia was not too happy about waiting to watch the parade and did not want to stay close to the sidewalk
what a cute picture of Sydney and Cousin Rebecca!!! they were having fun shopping in the store!
trying on the Abby hat...i think she was actually begging me to buy the hat. but i know she'll never wear it so i snapped a picture instead
Timing is everything...Olivia would not keep the hat on even though she looked adorable but the picture came out cute anyways...she had fun shopping even though i made her stay in the stroller
Looking cool!

random june pictures
Sydney striking a pose in her princess bathing suit
Olivia just relaxing by the water table
We've been spending lots of time outside enjoying the water table and splashing around. certainly easier than dragging both kids and lots of stuff to the pool...but am sure we'll be doing lots of that this summer too.
one of sydney's favorite restaurants-Bugaboo creek. where the animals all come out and talk to you. Sydney wanted to share some ice cream with the raccoon
olivia sampling the ice cream
much easier...just stick tongue in and lick the ice cream : )

Happy Father's Day!!!
Peek a boo! Olivia just looked so cute hiding from me i just had to snap this picture!
Sydney striking her pose...she now knows i love to take random pictures of her and she will do something silly like this, strike and pose and tell me to take her picture
the girls made a #1 dad trophy and presented it to him for father's day
We gave Papa a special waterproof fanny pack (not his only gift!) which we found for him. Who knew they made such a thing and people actually use it?!
Enjoying a special brunch with the family
Jason and his girls
Happy Father's Day to Jason, Papa and Poppie (not pictured but we are thinking about him and maybe next year we'll all be able to celebrate together.
Mini-golf! Quite an experience with the girls! Olivia was quite the player and has a future as a caddy. She ran to pick up the ball after each person played a stroke. And Sydney enjoyed having her daddy show her how to play although she definitely plays by her own rules.
Much easier to just put the ball in the hole!
Nanny gets ready to take a swing with a little help from her caddies
Jason shows Sydney how to take a swing
And to end the wonderful weekend with Nanny and Papa-a special treat at 16 Handles.
I got smart and put an old t-shirt on Olivia to keep her dress clean. Too bad I didn't bring an extra one for Nanny!!! Olivia was relatively clean but Nanny was covered in ice cream : )
She ate the whole thing (and some of Nanny's)...plus got a little help from big sister Sydney

Last day of Lion Friends
Sydney LOVES her teachers Miss Allegra and Miss Jane. She certainly will miss being a Lion Friend but it has been a great year with her friends and she loved going to school every day.
Sydney holding up her school picture from the beginning of the year and then standing with her school bag-just like the first day. My what a difference a school year makes...
This was a picture I took on her first day of school back in September...i can't get over how much she has grown and changed this year. What a wonderful year it has been!
