Olivia starts school too!

I can't believe 2 years ago Sydney was starting school and Olivia was still in my belly waiting to come out.  Now here she is getting ready for her first day of school!
How cute is this picture?!?!?!  Just can't believe she is starting in the transitional program and in just a few short months will go to school all by herself!!!
Olivia, with friends Rachel and Luke, jumped right into the activities. It definitely helps that they all have older siblings in the 3's class and feel right at home at B'nai Tzedek.
Working on her puppy puzzle-how appropriate as this is her first day with the "puppies" class
Olivia and Brooke check out the play phone and camera.  They clearly know these aren't real and have expressions as if to say "where are the real ipads, camers and iphones?!!"
snack time!

watch out-crazy driver coming through!
Olivia and Rachel at play...I'm sensing another Sydney/Sienna?!  These 2 love to play with the same things, same time but not always share...

this was just too cute and i love that i captured it on camera
just like her big sister, Olivia loves to sit on the little blue couch and read books
Olivia getting called up to get her sticker
Olivia is listening to everything Hanna has to say : )
Olivia and her friends did a great job helping out the teacher, Morah Orna, with the song

she moves to her own beat and loves to dance as much as her sister...the learning to follow directions will come...but when you look as cute as this, does it really matter??!
 doing her stretches
testing out dance moves with a little help from big sister

school, glorious school

Sydney's first day of school as a Panda Pal in the 3's class
Jason made fun of me for pulling over to the side of the road to get this picture but it came out so cute!!!
All ready to go inside the classroom
Sydney and her friend Hanna ready to start another great year. I have a picture just like this from last year.  My how quickly they change...
I peeked in through the small window and caught Sydney, Sari and Sienna sitting on the couch reading books together--so cute!
Circle time looked so organized and quiet, couldn't believe how calm everything was on the first day.  Sydney really loves going to school and does so well there.  What a pleasure...

are you ready for some football??!!

ok--so im not really ready for football season to begin but this labor day we did go to Charlottesville for my one and only football game of the season.  The weekend included our obligatory trip to Bounce-N-Play
Bounce-N-Play: where coloring on the walls is encouraged
and Olivia got to paint on the wall
all ready to go to the game
Jason and the 2 cutest cheerleaders
picture proof i really made it to the game--all ready to cheer on the wahoos!
Olivia met a new friend at the game while big sister played on the Ipad
Our cutie cheerleaders...should have gotten a picture before the game started as the girls looked so cute in their outfits but thought this was a cute one of them with the stadium in the background
And somehow this little cutie turned 22 months, which freaks me out cause she is close to 2 years old....those terrible two's are definitely here as Olivia is pure trouble.  good thing she is so adorable!!!

the lazy days of summer

Olivia was so excited for her first dance class--this is just a trial as she is a little young but since she shows such enthusiasm for dance, just like her sister, we decided to give it a try.
Olivia really got into in and got right down into the dance moves with the teacher
actually dancing with props and everything
playing in the grass
snapped this action shot of my girls with the attitude

we got a new piano!  yet another loud thing in our house to give me a headache (just kidding--the girls are actually pretty good with it!)...gonna be a couple of years before we start lessons and overall i am thrilled having it in our house. can't wait to start piano lessons!
checking out some of the animals at the catoctin zoo
feeding goats
being silly with cousin Lindsay
what a fun day with Beth and Lindsay!!!

Legoland

We had such a great day at Legoland California.  Perfect weather, great rides and so much to see and do. Awesome theme park!!!
Beautiful gardens and lego displays made Legoland a really cool place to visit
There were amazing recreations of people, animals and displays all over legoland. it was incredible to see what could be created out of legos and all the different rides they had.
going on an animal safari ride to see all the animals made of legos
checking out the pizza guy at the restaurant
Harry Potter and Hagrid made of legos-just amazing!

good thing we have 12 more years until she drives...she wasn't so good with the driving of the car when she got to do it on her own
cute picture of Sydney and Jason locked up in the castle section of legoland
Bob the builder legos and movie
4D movie. olivia just couldn't figure out how to put on the glasses
minitown usa--lego displays of cities around the united states. over 2 million legos used. how did they make this and put it together? must have taken a LONG time!
she's almost taller than the washington monument--the one made out of legos that is...
Washington DC-so cute to see all the little lego people which march in front of the capitol building
the french quarter in new orleans-made of legos

 New York City skyline
the Sydney opera house made of legos-had to get a picture of this, or course
San Francisco made of legos
Sydney and Yoda. they had an entire Star Wars collection out of legos which was impressive
Sydney and the Lego Princess...as long as she is wearing a pretty dress and fancy things, Sydney wants to meet her
proof that Sydney will take a picture with almost anybody in costume...even this funny looking Lego man
she had to be rescued several times while driving...hope this is not an indication of her future driving skills
duplo city had lots of things for the girls to run and climb on--large buildings that looked like lego creations. such a cool place!

We had a fantastic day at Legoland...we'll have to come back when Olivia is a little taller and can go on more rides and then there was a whole water park that we didn't even go to (there wasn't time--so many great rides and attractions!). until next time...
