Posting #100!!! Disney Vacation!

This is the 100th postings of this blog! There certainly has been LOTS to share with all of you and I can't wait to tell you all about my vacation. We went on a Disney Cruise AND to Disney World! Overall it was a FANTASTIC trip and we all had a great time. My parents say I was perfect most of the time, and a little bit of a nightmare just a couple of times (i did not like landing back home at Dulles airport but mommy says I screamed cause my ears hurt.

We started off with one night at the Hyatt Orlando Airport which was great cause there was lots of stuff to keep us busy until we went on our cruise. We went shopping and hung out at the airport. What a great way to start our vacation. Then Sunday morning we took a bus to Port Canaveral (about 50 minutes away) and we were ready for the next part of our adventure.

Time for the Disney Wonder 4 night cruise to the Bahamas! Lots more pictures to come but here we all are with Captain Mickey!

playing tourist

Our first order of business was a stop at the recently renovated Ford's Theater. Sydney enjoyed walking through the exhibit and got to go up to the balcony where President Lincoln was sitting when he was shot. Then it was on to visit a bunch of famous celebrities! OK--i'll put the disclaimer in that these photos MAY not be real people but instead wax figures made to look like these people at Madame Taussauds.

Sydney and Jason meet some of our nations founding fathers:

The new face of the $100 bill. I'd certainly become a collector if the paper money was as good looking as this!

Sydney has perfected the "clinton wave" as we hung with Bill and Hilary:

President Jason working hard in the oval office

The Martin family meets the Obamas! Sorry for the poor lighting...

Sydney sat ON TOP of the desk in the oval office

The future President checks out the presidential seal

My pictures of Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt weren't so great but this is a cute one of George Clooney!

Jason meets Britney Spears. No comment necessary...

And despite what we all may think of him as a person, Tiger Woods is still an incredible golfer and wouldn't we all like to have an adorable caddy such as the one pictured here giving Riger some golf tips!

Cheesecake and other December pictures!

During the "Blizzard of 2009" we got 22 inches of snow! This picture was taken after only 9 inches...we wouldn't be able to even see Sydney if we took pictures after all that snow!

Sydney is always happy and playful-ready for fun! Here are just a couple of cute pictures we just had to post:

Christmas was fun celebrating with Aunt Beth, Cousin Lindsay, Ally, Janna and the rest of the family...chinese food and movies are a great tradition! Of course none of the kids wanted to even look towards the camera!

During a recent visit to the Cheesecake Factory we somehow managed to walk out with 1/2 sheet cake of Peppermint cheesecake. See--it definitely does pay to have connections and frequent the restaurant often!

2010: Happy New Year!

Happy New Years everyone!!! Nope-wasn't able to stay up until midnight although I did get to stay up later than I usually do during my sleepover at Nanny and Grandpas house. We took a trip to Norfolk for the weekend. It's always fun to go shopping and hang out, plus we got to go swimming!

And the weekend wouldn't be complete without a visit to our favorite restaurant: the Cheesecake Factory. Hadn't been there since LAST YEAR so we got to enjoy a yummy lunch over the weekend : ) 2010 is off to a great start!

Happy Hanukkah!

Happy Hanukkah 2009!

To celebrate the first night of Hanukkah my friend Izzy came over with her mom and dad and we all had dinner. We lit the menorah and got presents. Mommy even cooked (yup--it's true--she wanted to use the new double oven in our kitchen) a real Shabbat dinner with challah and everything! I had fun playing with Izzy and don't we look cute in our pajamas?!

I love my new "Sydney" chair and all the fun new toys. Thank you for all the great gifts everyone : )

Lighting the candles with the folks...

and just wanted to share a cute picture of me wearing a sweater and hat by my nanny and GiGi.
