september silliness

This has been a super busy month! Between Sydney's school, ballet, sports class & Little Maestros we've been having a great time! School is going well and Sydney loves talking about the Jewish holidays and singing songs. Olivia is thriving and continues to gain speed in her crawling and is pulling up to standing. Don't think she'll be walking anytime soon--but you definitely have to keep an eye on this adorable little troublemaker! She eats anything and everything (and i do mean everything--scraps off the floor included!). I've included pictures of Olivia and her friend Kenzy at their 10 month picture & photos from lunch at the club where cousin Zach got to go for a ride on a golf cart. I know Jason can't wait to take Sydney and Olivia out and start their golf lessons-maybe next summer?! Enjoy these fun pictures!

officially crawling

Friday September 10th, while talking to daddy thru facetime on the Ipad, Olivia took her first forward moving crawl towards daddy. It was tentative but an actual movement. Then later in the day she enjoyed moving around the family room all on her own. I think the only one who is not loving this stage is Sydney who gets frustrated when her sister discovers that she can intrude on her play space. I have taken lots of video but took this series of photos the other day and wanted to share...

Happy Birthday to Mommy!

Nothing like 2 young kids to make you feel old...but it certainly does make getting older much more enjoyable! I had a great birthday filled with yummy treats and special time with family and friends. Sydney is pretty obsessed with birthdays and we are already counting down until her 3rd and Olivia's 1st birthday! Time sure does go by fast!

we LOVE school!

I love September...not just because its my birthday month or because there are new shows on tv after a long summer of reruns. September=school!!! Sydney started in the Lion Friends class and she LOVES going to school. It is going to be a fantastic year. Thought you'd appreciate some beginning of school year pictures!

fun with friends

Olivia and her friend Kenzy finally got together for their 9 month picture (ok--they are almost 10 months in this picture but trying to find time to torture them with these photo sessions has been difficult!)




And clearly we have 2 very unhappy kids...just kidding! They do love to smile and have fun with their friends. Sydney enjoyed a fun dinner with our wonderful neighbors Sara, Emma and of course her boyfriend Braden. Sydney showed everyone how to make "booties" out of their raspberries.
