Cousins!  Thought this was a good shot of the kids although the professional pictures are even better.
So much easier to get a good photo when you don't have to worry who is looking at the camera : )  It was a perfect day--that picture isn't photoshopped or anything. The water was that many different colors of blue and the sky with just a few clouds-couldn't ask for any more!
By this point my girls had enough and just wanted to play in the sand but we wanted at least one with my parents and all of us.

Just love this one of my parents and the four grandkids!  Jason was standing in the back holding Olivia but you really can't see him!
Happy 18 months sweet Olivia!  My little miss independent is just so full of personality and charm. She makes us laugh and smile. And she gives the best hugs. Can't believe she is a year and a half already!!!
Olivia loved dancing on stage to the music--she has quite the moves, just like her sister.  We've got 2 dancers in the family!
Teething doesn't even slow her down--she was watching the sesame street show and this is a great picture of Grandma so i had to post it

Sydney's smile was so big whenever she got near her Sesame Street friends--i love this one of her and Elmo during one of the camp activities
Olivia and Zoe
Playing chess

Uncle Jay doing the Hula : )

Cousin Lindsay, Sydney and Olivia--watching all the Sesame Street friends leave the luau
Poppie and Grandma walking on the beach with Olivia
rock and roll dance party with Elmo and Zoe
Sharing a strawberry smoothie on the beach

One of Sydney's highlights was getting her hair braided--she loves that the beads in her hair make her look fancy : )
Olivia LOVES cousin Zach--she just couldn't stop hugging him all the time! And its clear the feeling is mutual!
Sydney loved playing around in the water
Olivia gives Elmo a hug after the Letter of the Day activity
Love this one of the kids looking out at the sunset...

It was a magical trip and we all had a fantastic time. There are a few more pictures to come--ones from our professional photographer session.  The only real downer of the vacation was when my mom tripped and fell on the last night and had to visit the hospital in Turks and Caicos.  She broke her wrist and is having surgery this week to fix it.  Sydney keeps asking about Grandma's wrist and we all wish for a speedy recovery. But she is a tough woman who has been through a lot and will be just fine--hang in there Grandma!!! We love you : )

Beaches Turks and Caicos pictures (part 1)

Relaxing in a hammock at the Beaches resort...gonna try and post just a few pictures here that are different from the ones on Facebook but there are so many to choose from!  And i haven't even posted the ones the photographer took!
Uncle Jay doing the Limbo during one of the evening stage shows.  Every evening there was music, shows and entertainment.  Olivia especially loved to dance to the music. It was so great because we got to interact with the characters afterwards--lots of time with all the Sesame Street friends!
Surprise Tea Party with Elmo and Abby--just one of the many fun activities at Camp Sesame.  Sydney loved all the special time with the characters!
Our room--due to an ant problem, we got moved from the French Village to a Seaside Villa with a one bedroom suite--this worked out so perfectly for our family. There was a separate sleeping place for the girls, minibar (fully stocked), king size bed, 2 walk out porches and tons of space!
The kids club programming was top notch with lots of great age appropriate activities.  Every day Olivia was able to take a nap and the staff there was wonderful!

Sydney and Lindsay all dressed up and ready to go out to a nice dinner
The girls were so excited with their special surprise--Zoe came to our room to read the girls a bedtime story and tuck them into bed.  It was pretty special. Now if we could only figure out how to get Mickey and Minnie to do this....
Zoe and her friend read a story to us and then it was time for bedtime stretches and hugs & kisses.  Such a special treat!
Sydney loved all the flowers all around the resort--the grounds were just beautiful and well kept.

The water was all different shades of blue and felt wonderful.  Wish we had more time to spend on the beach but there was always so many things to do.  The girls loved playing in the sand and we captured a few pictures

Time to bake the cookies!  We all couldn't wait for this special activity and everyone had a lot of fun making cookies with Cookie Monster.  Olivia enjoyed eating all the chocolate chips!

Sydney was SO upset when she was told that Cookie Monster ate all the cookies that the kids had made.  She cried and cried--and we all just had to laugh cause it was so adorable that she reacted that way.  She took it personally and was very upset with Cookie Monster.  But he did bring out a fresh batch of cookies for all the kids to eat!
The girls just loved these giant chess games that they had throughout the resort.
 Poppie and the girls
Family photo by the Caribbean Village... there were so many picture taking opportunities since the resort was just so picturesque...if only i could get the girls to both look at the camera at the same time and smile??!!

Turks and Caicos!

Where to begin?!  We just returned from a fantastic week at Beaches Turks and Caicos resort. It was a wonderful vacation filled with sun, sand, swimming, Sesame Street friends and smiles.  It would be impossible to post as many pictures as I want so I'll choose a few highlights but this one had to be one of the coolest pictures ever taken.  Jay (my brother-in-law) got chosen to dance on stage at the beach luau and as a result we got to take this special photo with all the characters--too cool!
Overall we were so impressed with the resort from the beautiful grounds, 16 restaurants, sandy beaches, water park/slides/lazy river, yummy treats and all the kids programming.  Lots to share and many happy memories. More pictures to come!

Sydney was Shabbat girl today--and she was so excited that Aunt Beth could join her in the classroom and at Family sing!  In the first picture Sydney had to show her teacher Ms. Allegra her fancy dancing shoes.

Our school has the cutest little challah delivery girls--Sydney and Olivia love to deliver the challah to all the classrooms and classmate Eli helped out today.  But i think the favorite part was getting a ride on the delivery cart.

Love these pictures from family sing : )

Olivia's Play and Learn Class

Every Friday while Sydney is in preschool, Olivia has been going to a fun Play & Learn class at our temple and it is amazing to see how Olivia has grown and changed  this past year.  When we started she wasn't walking or talking and now she runs around and engages in all sorts of fun activities. She loves to celebrate Shabbat and even has a new word-challah!   Today she enjoyed playing with whipped cream (although most got in her mouth!) and going on the roller coaster car.

Gotta figure out this new blogger format but had to share these cute pictures...
