Sydney in the Big Apple

Sydney's 1st train ride. I had to weigh my carry on baggage-here she is!

Top of the Rock--we toured Rockfeller Center and enjoyed lots of sightseeing in NYC during Sydney's 2nd trip to New York.

Words can not begin to describe our adventure at the Today Show. Thanks to one of Jason's connections we got VIP access to our favorite morning show program and went to see The Today Show filmed live in Rockfeller plaza during one of their summer concert series.

We love Ann, Al & Matt. It was so surreal watching the filming of the Today Show and then watching Sydney on TV. She did such a great job all morning long and with the concert. Unfortunately she was a little overwhelmed by all the screaming at the point in the show where they came over to our section (hence the crying) but we loved the whole experience and have something to torture Sydney with as she gets older.

Natasha Bedingfield was live in concert on Today Show and Sydney enjoyed her first concert!!!

No stopping me now!

It's been a busy summer. I went to a friends birthday party and my parents thought it was funny that I made myself comfortable and took over while taking my bottle. A girl has to relax, right?!

My parents are crazy!! But you all know that ; ) So we are packing up some of our stuff to bring to storage and daddy packed me up too!!!

I'm moving all over the place: climbing stairs (but won't do it when mom has the camera), cruising around the furniture and standing up in my crib! Watch out world!

Summertime fun

Shopping is one of my favorite activities. I especially love playing with daddy's credit card and one day I'll figure out how to use it!!! Here I am shopping with my friend Izzy at one of my favorite stores (mommy loves Gymboree too!).

Aunt Jane came to visit and I took her to my Gym class. We do all kinds of fun things at Little Gym and I love having a good time there. I especially enjoy the bells, balls and bubbles. Since I'm on the move, I'm trying to show my friend Hannah how to crawl.

In addition to crawling, one of my favorite things to do is tear up magazines and paper. Great-Grandma Juliet knitted me a beautiful sweater and I had fun ripping up the packaging with Cousin David : ) Summer will be over soon but I am making the most of it and having a good time with family, friends and of course, mom & dad!

We love San Francisco!!!

My mommy and daddy are crazy. I had heard that they liked to travel and they sure know how to keep busy. So in addition to our time in San Jose, Monterey and Pebble Beach (plus a work trip to Sacramento for dad) we took a fun and quick day trip to San Francisco. We had a great time walking around Pier 39 & Fisherman's Wharf, eating chocolate sundae's at Ghiradelli Square and driving down Lombard Street. We saw the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz too! Hope we come back here again soon--San Fran is a great city!

Do you know the way to San Jose?

I do! I took my first trip to the West Coast and went to go visit with some family in California. It was a long plane ride but I did great! Daddy couldn't wait to take me to the place where he and mommy got engaged--with the help of the CA family.
(Jason is such a romantic--we even stayed at the Fairmont hotel where Jason surprised me on November 9th, 2005 by coming to San Jose to propose and made me the happiest person ever!)

I had so much fun with my cousins Kaitlyn and Emily! The played with me and fed me and danced for me. Mommy didn't do a good job of taking pictures because there aren't too many pictures, but we did have fun with rest of the family. Hopefully Cousin Shari will have some good pictures from Adam and Alison's wedding reception. This picture was taken when I was sleeping--looks like my Grandma, Poppie, Aunt Janice, Uncle Bobby, mom, dad and Cousin Michael had fun!

Daddy got to play a round of golf at Pebble Beach which was a dream come true for him. Mommy and I hung out at the Monterey Aquarium with my "Auntie" Karen who was visiting Cali the same time as me! Daddy did well during his round of golf and we enjoyed lunch, shopping and hanging out at the 18th tee!

9 month antics

HI! It's me again. I've been VERY busy but wanted to share a few pictures. Here I am hanging in my room "reading" my mommy's entertainment magazine. I prefer to look at one page at a time and rip the pages to shreds...guess this is why all my books are board books. I have a lot of toys but lately I choose to play with paper, shoes and remote controls...
I went to this fun place last week called Interactions Learn and Play where they have a lot of fun toys. I especially liked the balls, riding toys and this one where I could look at myself in the mirror and even gave myself some kisses!

Saturday we had a family outing to Sugarloaf Winery with my playgroup friends. I had a great time (so did my parents)!!!

And guess what?!?! After weeks and weeks of scooting around on my back and moving around the room I decided to do the forward crawl! I won't do it for the video camera yet but at least I did it for mommy and daddy. They were so proud : ) I can also get myself into a sitting position and thats what I do most of the time...even in my crib! Pretty soon I'll be going for the stairs.....watch out mommy & daddy!!!!!

save the date

my mommy and daddy are SO crazy. they do like to plan ahead and apparently something big is happening in 2021...i haven't even started talking yet but they are already thinking about things to come.

Guess this is going to keep my parents up at night...time sure does seem to go by fast and 2021 will be here before you know it! : )
